Serving Kratom Tea in the Kitchen: Is It Safe?

Kratom tea comes from the leaves of Kratom tree, which is found in Southeast Asia. In tropical countries like Malaysia and Thailand, they make use of Kratom in traditional medicine, you can get the best kratom capsules if you like it this way. However, others ingest it for recreational use.

Kratom tea is made from the leaves of Kratom plant, which is now becoming more and more popular. While others opt to drink the said plant, there are also people who prefer to swallow it in solid form – leaves are dried, crushed into powder, and placed inside a capsule.

While the aforementioned has become a popular choice nowadays, is it really safe to serve this famous tea in the kitchen?

There have also been reported cases of overdose due to Kratom consumption. While the number may not be alarming compared to other forms of drugs, the said component is still viable for overdose. Here are some of the commonly encountered effects of overdose due to Kratom intake.

Death has also been linked to Kratom intake, but most of the time, it is consumed together with other substances. Apparently, even with death as the worst form of effect associated with Kratom, Kratom tea is still legally sold in most parts of the US.

Although Kratom is legal in most areas of the United States, it is still important to be careful in consuming anything with Kratom since it is labeled as unregulated.

Kratom is still widely sold online, either as a tea or as a form of supplement. However, ingestion of any edible products containing Kratom is highly discouraged by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) due to the potential risk it imposes. In addition, doctors are not allowed to prescribe supplements containing Kratom.

Although there were reported cases of positive feedbacks regarding Kratom intake, these feedbacks are not verified and therefore, must not be considered as a reason for you to take Kratom tea on a daily basis.

Due to the fact that it is unregulated, serving Kratom tea in the kitchen is potentially hazardous to the health. Therefore, you should prevent yourself from consuming anything with Kratom in excess.
